Information we handle

My PDF Scanner is a mobile app for scanning, importing, organizing, and exporting documents. To provide these features, the app may process images, PDFs, file names, folder names, OCR text, signatures, app settings, and subscription status that you create or import.

If you choose to sign in, we may process your email address, Google or Apple sign-in identifiers, authentication tokens, anonymous app identifier, account profile, server session, and account deletion request through our backend at api.entlearn.com.

When you contact support or make a purchase, we may also handle your email address, message content, device diagnostics, transaction status, purchase identifiers, receipt or transaction payloads, and subscription validation information from your app store provider.

Scans and local processing

Your scans are mainly used inside the app for cropping, filters, sorting, export, sharing, folder organization, and password protection. Unless you choose system sharing, cloud import, email support, or third-party sync, we do not actively send your document content to third parties.

• Camera, photo library, and file permissions are used only for the scan and import flows you choose.
• In-app password or App PIN limits access inside the app and does not automatically encrypt exported files.
• OCR, export, and sharing may process files through the system or platform service you select.

How we use information

• Provide scanning, import, editing, OCR, organization, export, purchase restore, and customer support features.
• Maintain service stability and troubleshoot crashes, compatibility issues, purchase restore problems, and export failures.
• Validate subscriptions, manage Pro access, and handle refund or billing-related requests according to platform rules.
• Comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, and protect users and services.

Third-party services

PDF Scanner may rely on your app store provider, system camera, system file picker, system share sheet, crash diagnostics, or purchase validation services. Third-party services process related information under their own privacy policies.

When you import or export content through iCloud, Photos, Files, or system sharing, data handling is also affected by those platforms and your device settings.

Retention and deletion

Scans stored on your device are managed by you in the app or operating system. Support emails, account records, anonymous identifiers, and necessary transaction records may be retained to process requests, accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

You can delete in-app files, uninstall the app, or use the in-app account deletion flow to request deletion of account profile data, sign-in identities, and server sessions. Platform purchase records and subscription billing are managed through your store account and may need to be canceled separately.

Children and international use

My PDF Scanner is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can address it.

If you use the app in different countries or regions, information may be processed based on app store, cloud service, support service, and infrastructure locations and applicable laws.

Policy updates

We may update this privacy policy as product features, platform requirements, or legal obligations change. Updated versions will be posted on this page with the displayed last updated date.
