These terms explain the rules, responsibilities, subscriptions, cancellations, account handling, and limits that apply when you use the My PDF Scanner website, app, and Pro features.

Acceptance of terms

By using, downloading, or accessing the My PDF Scanner app, website, or related services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not continue using the service.

You should also read our Privacy Policy to understand how the app handles information in scanning, import, account, subscription, purchase validation, and support scenarios.

If you use the app through Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to the applicable app store terms, billing rules, refund rules, and subscription management tools.

Service scope

My PDF Scanner provides document scanning, image or PDF import, page organization, filters, OCR, signatures, batch actions, export, sharing, in-app password protection, account management, and Pro features.

Specific features may vary by device, operating system version, store region, language, subscription status, product configuration, and platform review requirements.

Free and Pro access

The app may include free features and paid Pro features. Free access may include core scanning, local organization, editing, export, or other features shown in the app at the time of use.

Pro access may unlock additional limits, batch workflows, OCR, signatures, advanced export, restore, subscription entitlement sync, or other premium features described in the app purchase screen or store listing.

Feature availability can change as the app is updated, but we will not intentionally remove paid access that you are currently entitled to without a valid platform, legal, security, or product reason.

Accounts and sign-in

You can use many app features without signing in. Sign-in may be offered to help sync subscription entitlement, restore purchases, manage account deletion, or support account-related requests.

If you sign in with email, Google, or Apple, you are responsible for keeping access to that sign-in method secure. You should only use an account that you are authorized to use.

Deleting your My PDF Scanner account removes account profile data, sign-in identities, and server sessions handled by our backend. It does not automatically cancel an active subscription, delete app store purchase records, or remove local scans stored only on your device.

Your responsibilities

  • You must ensure you have the right to scan, import, edit, store, share, or export relevant files.
  • You may not use the service for illegal, infringing, fraudulent, malicious, or privacy-violating content.
  • You are responsible for backing up important files and checking content, format, clarity, and recipients before sharing or export.
  • You should protect your device, system account, in-app password, and subscription account.

Subscriptions, payment, and cancellation

Some features may require My PDF Scanner Pro. Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app store provider shown at checkout. Prices, taxes, billing periods, trials, offers, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules follow the relevant platform display and policies.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period or within the cancellation window shown by your app store provider. Your store account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Uninstalling the app, deleting local files, signing out, or deleting your My PDF Scanner account does not automatically cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account subscription settings.

The lifetime option, if available in your region and shown in the app, is a one-time purchase for Pro access in this app. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.

Refunds, chargebacks, payment failures, family sharing, price changes, taxes, free trials, introductory offers, and billing disputes are handled under the policies and tools of the app store provider that processed your purchase.

Purchase restore and entitlement sync

The app may validate purchases with the app store provider and our backend to unlock Pro access, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and resolve support requests.

Purchase restore may require network access, the same store account used for the purchase, and a valid transaction record from Apple App Store or Google Play.

If a purchase is refunded, canceled, reversed, expired, or cannot be verified, Pro access may be reduced or removed according to the entitlement status returned by the app store provider or our backend.

Files, export, and password protection

  • In-app password or App PIN limits access inside the app and does not guarantee automatic encryption of exported files.
  • PDF, JPG, TXT, or Word export results may depend on original image quality, OCR accuracy, fonts, language, and page layout.
  • When files are sent through system sharing, cloud drives, email, or third-party apps, later processing is handled by the third-party service you choose.
  • You are responsible for reviewing sensitive, legal, medical, financial, identity, immigration, or business documents before relying on or sharing exported files.

Third-party services and platforms

The app may rely on operating system features, Apple App Store, Google Play, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, file pickers, photo libraries, camera services, sharing sheets, and our backend at api.entlearn.com.

Third-party services are controlled by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, account restrictions, cloud sync behavior, or data handling after you choose to share or export content outside the app.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or that output will satisfy every legal, accounting, medical, government, business, or archiving requirement.

My PDF Scanner is not a legal, tax, medical, or professional compliance tool. For important documents, review output manually and consult relevant professionals for your use case.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from use or inability to use the service, including data loss, business interruption, lost profits, document rejection, missed deadlines, or file misuse.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app or Pro access during the period allowed by law.

App store terms

Apple and Google are not responsible for providing maintenance or support for My PDF Scanner except as required by their own platform rules. Support requests should be sent to us using the contact information on this page or in the app.

If any app store terms conflict with these terms for purchases, subscriptions, refunds, or cancellation, the app store terms and user-facing store checkout information control for that transaction.

Updates and termination

We may update these terms as the product, platform rules, or laws change. Updated terms will be posted on this page with the displayed last updated date.

If you violate these terms or abuse the service, we may reasonably limit, suspend, or terminate access to related features.
